Goodwill and Salvation Army can be a great place to start but there are so many more options! Check out all these resources that can directly impact the needs of your community.
Just a note from me about giving things away: Consider the condition! Would you be willing to buy it in a thrift store? If not, items in less than stellar condition may be better off in the recycle pile.

- Vietnam Veterans of America – Men’s, Women’s & Kids Clothing

- The Women’s Center – Helping domestic violence survivors. Will take men’s, women’s and kids in-season clothing only.
- Healing Transitions – Helping people overcoming addiction.

- Local shelters like the ones mentioned above
- Note in the Pocket – Helping homeless and impoverished children.
